Why do dogs hide their bones?
Posted by: | CommentsI have an 8 month old Shitzu-Papillion. We get him these bone-like things filled with meat in the centre. Whenever he gets one, he picks it up and wanders around the house whining and crying until he finds a good enough hiding spot for it (ex. flower pot, laundry basket, behind some floor lamps, etc). It’s pretty funny but I’d like to know why he does this. Thank you!
Are there any transport services from Sydney to Canberra that allow pets?
Posted by: | CommentsAre there any bus/train/etc. services that allow pets to travel as well? I’ve looked into Murrays and they have a no pets policy, and there’s nothing on Greyhounds mentioning pets that I’ve come across.
I have a small dog, a Papillion, so she wouldn’t take up much room if she was to travel, though I’m concerned for her comfort. If she was to spend three hours in a hot, stuffy, ill-ventilated area with the danger of luggage bags falling on top of her crate all the time, I won’t be very satisfied…

Do any transport services have ventilated luggage areas? For buses I know that may be hard... but for trains, maybe? I can understand that they won't let animals in the passenger area, but if the luggage area isn't horribly stuffy, then that's ideal too.
can a main character be mean?

i’ll only shop at chanel,gucci,ralph lauren,prada, etc.
i don’t like wearing anything but designer clothes,shoes, etc.
i even dress my dog in designer clothes
i like modeling, but wanna be a fashion designer
i have two dogs…a papillion and a beagle
i’m not into relationship at the moment cause i gotta focuse on my career but i do date and have the occasional boyfriend
i’ve got a 4.0 and i plan on going in f.i.t[fashion institute or tech which is in new york] or csm[Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design which is in london]
i take great notice in the way i look, and i’d like to look exactly perfect…
and i’m very competitive…
but i’m afraid people won’t like her
would you say i’m stuck up, snobby, or highmaintaince?

we are rally confused! Her ears are huge, her tail is docked, but has har growing long to make us think maybe some papillion, but maby some collie too? But where does the color come from??
we are truelly stumped! do you see any breeds??
she sleeps with her legs stretcheced out behind her, and she runs really fast! she htes the cold too! she is VERY friendly, but protective of her things and me, she loves to run, and she is great at jumping over things at fast speeds! when she is playing fetch or somthing she runs and hops at the same time, its cute really! but what breeds do you think she is???
She is also very sweet, but can get very hyper and gets destructive. agressive playing!

HELP pet food?

My mom has great pyrenees male and female. and i have a papillion. my moms dog (female angel) angel has alergies she is alergic to 25 different things and i was wondering if their is a dog food with mainly meat. she is allergic to corn and carrots and she thinks peas but can’t remember all of them. i need a cheap mainly meatish dog food in Fargo ND. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Papillion 6-7months old on heat?

My sister just called me to tell me the puppy is on heat and she wants to know how long it will last.
(dont worry i know she is little and too young for puppies and she wont be getting out or around other dogs)
and also how often will this happen to her?
thank you. and yes we are aware of what dogs will do to get to her!
they have a few dogs circling the house but are keep her inside apart from when she needs to go out to go to the toilet.
they havent had her too long and were planning on getting it done but she beat them to it.
Aggression question.PLEASE HELP!?
Posted by: | CommentsWe have a 3 yr old male Doberman. Crazy dog. He is very needy. Barks no stop. Whines. Never once been aggressive. If my husband is out of sight from Zeus (Dobie) he whines and barks. Non stop.
We have a 2 yr old male Papillion. Great dog, other than an occasional chewing, we have no problems. ( he does hump things L)
They have been living in perfect harmony for 2 years. Never a problem.
NOW Let me introduce the stray Female we adopted. She is fixed. She is older ( 4ish).
She is a very well behaved dog, someone took good care of her. She stays in the house all day, and we don’t ever have problems with her.
So, all of a sudden the Dobie wants to kill the Papillion. They don’t want to be in the same room together. The Papillion is SCARED of Zeus.
What happened? Both males are uncut. I KNOW. Get them cut. BUT will it do anything now. Is it too late? We found a good home for the female, we just cant’ have 3 dogs.
Is the aggression Zeus showing going to transfer over into aggression towards humans?
These are my babies. I need help. Any suggestions? Thoughts?
How much would these dogs shed?
