my dog just ate poptarts??? help please?
ByI’m not sure which flavor cuz it wasn’t mine but I opened it and it was all smudges and stuff so I didn’t eat it so I threw it away and my dog got in the trash and ate it I think it was chocolate please help she’s an Australian cattle dog and weighs about fifty pounds

Your dog will be fine. Not that pop tarts are good for human or animal – too much sugar, fat and preservatives, but your dog will be ok.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha my dog once ate a full bar of cadburys chocolate MAX he was okay though

My 15lb Westie ate two whole chocolate fudge Poptarts that I had left in my car from that morning and was just fine. There isn’t enough real chocolate in Poptarts to actually harm a dog.

PopTarts are very unhealthy towards animals and humans. There isn’t enough of real chocolate or actual sweeteners to harm her, though. Make sure she drinks plenty of water to wash it down.

When I was little my dog ate a WHOLE box of chocolate hershey’s kisses, but she was fine. She’s eaten worse things like a box of crayons (it was very awkward cleaning up rainbow dog poop). Too much can make your dog sick, but she’ll be fine

Your dog will be fine. If that was deadly, trash cans everywhere would be ringed with dead dogs. The important thing is to watch your dog. If she does act different after being in the trash, take her to the vet to be checked out. There is not enough chocolate in a poptart to hurt a 50 lb. dog.

Your dog will be fine. Poptarts are not the best thing for a dog to eat, because of the processed material. But your dog should be find. It might have the runs, but I highly doubt it.

Dogs are pretty resilient. She’ll be fine.
