Super Sneaky Smart Dogs

While Surveying some new locations at Trochu Alberta our landowner Andrew showed what his 9 year old Border Collie could do…it made for an enjoable break in an abnormally hot sunny day…this dog really rocks….. a good cow dog too Editing quality is not high, this is the best I can do until I find my movie software or download something else.

The funny thing is, you HAVE TO do such things with these dogs, ´cause if not, they´re getting bored and nothing is worse than a bored Border Collie, that´s for sure…

Very wide open….I will be hurting for a bit due to the sunburn I got yesterday…..always liked those dogs but I don’t think I have the time or energy to give one the right life

Heh, We could use a few dogs like him when we pick rocks in the fields down this way! LOL! That’s a very smart dog!
These Border Collie’s are a very smart breed! We use to have one on the farm years ago, We’d send him out to get the cows out in the pasture before milking if they were still out there! The pasture was a little over 1/2 mile in length,….. Looks like there’s plenty of wide open spaces out that way!

border collies are smart. my sister has one and when her kids play outside the dog will quietly heard them in a tight circle and run them towards house without them even noticing until they start bumping into each other.
