What do you think this puppy would look like when he’s older?

He’s a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog Mix… How big do you think he would get?
I knew you wouldn’t be able to tell me exactly, I just wanted an estimate you know? So, I’m gonna go with just a little bit smaller.

He would probably be just a bit smaller than a german shepherd because it looks like that gene is very dominate for him.

Traits are not predictable in a mutt – he could get the size of either the Shepherd, the Cattle Dog, or neither (bigger, smaller, in between.) No way to tell which traits are “dominant” because ANY trait can be dominant depending on the mix (could even be mixed with something else, FYI.)
He could look more shepherd, but that does not mean he will be the size of a shepherd (or the size of the cattle dog or other part of the mix for those who believe that a mix that inherits the looks of one parent will inherit the size – or behavior – of the other parent.)

Since most Aussies are just a little smaller than g.s. dogs, i’m guessing just a few inches shorter than a normal german shepherd’s height. He will probably have the same markings as he does now, though they may fade a little. You know, asking a question about how big a mutt is going to get was actually pretty pointless, because with mutts NO ONE and i mean NO ONE unless you can see the future or something will be able to tell how big he’ll really be.

by his looks and brieds he might be a little bit smaller than a german shepard and weigh about 75-85 pounds

He will get about 40 to 60 lbs.
