What is the smartest thing your dog has done?
ByWell this just happened a few minutes ago. I let my golden retriever, Sam, in from outside. He looked at me with his head tilted sideways expecting a treat. Then after a bit, he realized he wasnt getting one. so he looked around for something of ours to take. he picked up a sock with his mouth and ran around with it until i finally gave up and offered a treat. he won, once again 
what are some of your dog stories? they can be dumb, annoying, smart etc.

My cocker spaniel will bump things with his nose to get them rocking until they fall down. If there’s food on the kitchen counter he will do this with my stools until he gets a treat.

Hmmm.
A couple days ago my poodle/shih tzu mix, Elmo, ripped through the screen door and ran away. He’s back now and today he pooped on our carpet. He ain ‘t the brightest dog and he has separation anxiety, but I love him:D

Every time me and my dog,Princess go a walk and she see’s another dog she sits down and wave to them . : )

My dog learned to open the door to the room she’s kept in at night. She jumped and pressed her paws on the lever thing and boy is it annoying now. She keeps getting out at night and sneaking around our house looking for treats!

My border collie has learned how to open the gate to the backyard. But he will only do it if he is invited to the front.
He also brings me the kleenex box when I sneeze

one of my males,alerted me my girl was having her puppies,he wouldn’t stop barking,he woke me up,my daughter told him to be quiet,and he listens when told,but about 10 min later he started again
once i came downstairs he stopped barking,he sat looking at my girl,40 min later she had a puppy

Well, this is NOT with one of my current dogs. I use to show and breed Dobes. There was a gentleman that had come over to pick up his puppy from me. When he entered my kitchen, he accidentally knocked my wall phone off, landing on the floor. Since this man and I were standing right next to each other, we both went to pick up the phone at the same time. The Dam to my litter apparently thought that this man was going to grab my arm, instead of the phone. Well, she grabbed his arm first, not biting, but just wouldn’t let go, until I gave her the command to. I asked this man if he was sure he still wanted the pup I had picked out for him. ( he was quite scared at the time) He said, hell yes….this is exactly what I would expect out of a well bred Dobe. He than ended up using the call name Arrow, for his pup, as he said it felt like someone was putting an arrow through his winter coat….Moral of the story….my girl (Spirit) proved her protection instincts, without going overboard, and I ended up with a pup in a fantastic home for her whole life of 13 years!

well u know whats really funny stuff about my dog?
1. sometimes, he pee’s and poo’s very little so he can get a treat
2. when my parents come home he runs to the door, jumps on then, then sits near the door looking at us hoping to give him a walk. when ever we show him the leash he jumps with excitment. when ver we say u want to go for a walk, he runs to the basement door cause thats where we keep all of his stuff.
3. when we try to catch him or get him to come inside, we always say, “Odie, do u want some CHEESE?” and he’ll go nuts! but hell either come to us or when were about to give it to hijm, he’ll sit and lets us catch him and pet him.
4. Odie (my dog) will do sit, down, roll over, paw, other paw, speak, and jump! he’s soo cute!!!!
5. he also loves to run outside. and when he runs (even in the house) his ears look like bunny ears. IT TOOO FUNNY!
6. when hes able to catch a got speed, he’ll jump on the couch when we have something he wants.
7. he always excpects attention. when ever we dont do anything with him, he’ll probably bark outside telling us he either wants to go, see’s another dog(s), thinks people are walking on our territory, hates to see the chinesse people next door. Or he’ll play with his toys, sleep or try to destroy them
8. odie loves the wet food we give some. when we say”do u want to eat? want food?” he’ll follow us and jump on us like he does with treats. he’ll even finish his food in less then 5 minutes!

is there a reason you posted this same question 11 times? it’s almost as annoying as the people with sick dogs who think it is better to ask a buch of strangers whats wrong rather than taking the dog to a vet who will know what is wrong
