Whats the best dog for me?
ByI’m looking for a dog… I don’t want a small dog or a huge dog… just a normal sized dog… I want it too be athletic and strong and be able to keep up with me if I go do some outside activity… I want a smart dog that is very loyal and pretty much will be my best friend… Does anyone know what kind of dog would be best???

Labrador Retriever. Or really any kind of retriever. There a quite a few.
Some of them can get kinda big though…
But other than that, the other stuff you said sounds like you perfect dog might be one of those!!

I would say Boxer! They are extremely athletic, loyal, and very smart. They are not overly big, either. I also suggest a Border Collie. They are not tiny but not huge, either, and are also very athletic. They’re considered the smartest dog in the world too.

I would suggest the following:
1.Cocker Spaniel (Loyal and somewhat smart)
2. Border Collie (Considered one of the smartest dog’s. Very athletic. Maybe too large)
3. Manchester Terrier (Intelligent, but somewhat intimidating)
4. Poodle (Very smart and non-shedding)
5. Airedale Terrier (Smart and somewhat athletic)
Those are my top 5 choices for you.

im with tha other guy get a lab. i have one, they adjust to your lifestyle, the only thing is they dont like to be left alone.

Border Collie – energetic, considered a medium sized breed – therefore not too small nor too large. Very strong breed, mentally AND physically. Extremely loyal very easy to train, very obedient. I’ve had Abbie 4 month now, and oh my God, she is my best friend I can assure you that.

A pitbull would be ideal. They are loving, loyal, couragous, friendly and goofy. Dont believe the myths, pits are NOT mean unless trained to be that way or neglected.
